PRESS POLICY GUIDELINES

**Press must strictly adhere to the following guidelines.

  1. Attribution
    1. Speakers
      1. Government Speakers
        1. All federal government/agency speakers can be listed by name, title, and agency.
      2. PSC Staff
        1. Staff of the Professional Services Council should be listed by name and title.
      3. Vision Presenters
        1. Vision Presenters (industry speakers) MUST be listed as “PSC Volunteer,” “Vision volunteer,” or “Vision participant.” You may identify their name but NOT their company.
    2. References
      1. Unless otherwise specified by the speaker, all comments during the conference are on the record.
      2. Screenshots are not to include Vision forecast presentations.
      3. Conference slides may NOT be published or reproduced without PSC approval.
      4. All references to the PSC Conference and Forecast must be credited to PSC as the “Professional Services Council” or “PSC.”
      5. Where available, hyperlink to PSC’s webpages for forecasts and additional information.

  2. Requests for Interviews
    1. All participant requests for interviews must be made to PSC’s Media and Comms Director, Tomeka B. Scales, Ph.D. at media@pscouncil.org.
    2. Email questions in advance (and during the conference) to media@pscouncil.org.

About the Conference

Day One Location: Omni Shoreham Hotel: 2500 Calvert St NW, Washington, DC 20008 | 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. ET

Day Two Location: Virtual Only | 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. ET

The Purpose: To provide a forum that showcases concise, quantifiable assessments of federal budgets, programs, priorities, and issues. This allows government customers an opportunity to express their current and future needs, and it encourages greater government/industry communication.

The Process: Each year, volunteers gather, collate, and analyze information for the annual Vision Federal Market Forecast, which is a compilation of more than 20 reports that provide in-depth analysis of the defense, civilian, and federal IT markets. Receive qualitative and quantitative analysis from 400+ industry member volunteers who participate in the forecasting process.
